Next on the longarm is a geometric beauty – I love these colors, and the black surround really makes them pop.

Design is simple — three centered rows of 16″ blocks, with 16″ textured black background on either side. Quilting design is a conundrum, though — stay with something geometric? Or contrast with something curvy?

I’m thinking rulerwork and some curvy fills in the blocks … then maybe a geometric panto in the black borders. We’ll see how that plays out.
